  • Energy is converted into heat
  • Hair follicle is destroyed.

3. Phases of Hair Growth

-Hair follicles grow at different stages, which is why multiple treatments are required.laser2 –   Different body parts have different   periods of growth and dormancy – Most areas have growth cycles that are 4-12 months. However, the scalp ranges from 2-6 years and the armpit and bikini 3-4 months.

4. What does it feel like?

Each laser pulse produces a slight tingling feeling which may feel like a rubber band snap in sensitive areas. Our advanced laser equipment is fitted with a cooling tip on the handpiece which cools the skin and minimizes discomfort.

5. Treatment Schedule

  • Patients are scheduled every 4-8 weeks.
  • A total of 6-12 treatments may be required to produce the desired result.
  • Generally the area remains hair-free for several years and a maintenance treatment may be required every few years. This is because the body can activate new hair follicles over time due to hormonal changes and other factors.
